How does it work?
How does the program work?
Life Compassion is a Voluntary Sponsorship Program. Our
sponsorship program seeks volunteers who would like to
invest in a child’s life by sponsoring their studies,
feeding program and any other basics needs.
Child’s education: The amount donated goes towards the
school tuition, meals offered by the school and school
supplies.
Orphan child: The donation will help the orphans
receive proper treatment, shelter, hot meal and education.
A sponsor can support as many children as he/she wishes. The
coordinators working in the field are also volunteers,
donating time and efforts to change the lives of needy
children. Any non-designated or general donation goes
towards the improvement of the institution, orphanage or
school, to buy computers, build gyms, class-rooms, etc.
As a sponsor you have the right to follow the progress of the
child, to write and receive letters from the child.

Payments
Where do I send the sponsorship
payment?
If you didn’t receive the enclosed envelope with
your statement, please mail it to:

Can I pay with check or credit
card?
Yes. Just let us know how you prefer it. There is
an area on your statement for credit card information. You
can also choose monthly or yearly.
Will you bill me?
We will send you a monthly statement to remind you.

Sponsorship
Can I sponsor more than one child?
Yes. One sponsor can help as many children as
he/she wishes.
Can I choose a boy or a girl? What
about age?
Yes. You can specify a boy or
girl and the age range if you wish.
Does the child speak English?
No. Letters will be translated for
you.

Contact with
the child
Can I write to the child?
Yes. We hope you'll want to write to your child at
least once a year.
The children enjoy receiving letters.
Can I visit the child?
Yes, we will arrange someone to guide you to the
city/school where the child is. Just let us know and plan in
advance .
Can I send gifts to the child?
You're welcome to send an extra $15 or more for
the child's birthday and at Christmas, which will be used to
purchase a gift that your child will enjoy.
Will the child contact me?
The child will write an average of two letters
annually to you.
Will I know the academic progress
of the child?
Through the letters received you will follow the
progress of the child.

Concerns
Will I have any financial
contract/obligation?
No. There is no contract. You can stop at any
moment at no penalty. This is a voluntary sponsorship
program. We just ask you to be faithful to better help the
child.
Can I stop sponsoring at any
moment?
Yes. You can stop at any moment at no penalty.

Is my contribution tax deductible?
Life Compassion has applied for tax exempt status
under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Donations to Life Compassion are tax deductible to the
extent allowed by law.
What happens if the child moves
away or stops studying?
You will be notified as soon as possible. We
update our database once a month.
